The people they got running the house are bad. I paid rent religiously, no problem, voiced an opinion about it, be a money racket. They don’t do randoms checks, they don’t make you do meetings, no structure, just a couple of kids that if they feel your a threat then they find away to put you out and she literally gave me one day to find somewhere to go so it must have struck a nerve.
Both these homes are a nuisance to the neighborhood. 305 is suppose to be for women. But there are more men running in and out of the place all day and night long. There seems to be no supervision. I was under the impression that these kind of homes had rules and curfews. In the morning someone is moving out of home and that evening someone else is moving in. Cars driving up and down alley all night long, with music blasting. This is an older established neighborhood, with many elderly people, why anyone would drop not 1 but 2 of these homes smack dab in the middle of it doesn't seem like it makes much sense. Don't get me wrong I am not saying these home can't be here, but it seems if they where actually being run like a sober home and not a rooming home. This type of things would not be going on.
Your Choice Sober Living gave me a home to live in while getting my life back in order and free of drugs. I'm reading the other comments here and thinking these are NOT fair or factual descriptions of these homes. I WAS a manager at the male's home and Shaune would have never tolerated any mess like this within the houses nor in the neighborhood, and she is around all the time! The only reason for getting kicked out beyond relapsing is if you are creating a disrespectful or unsafe environment. I loved living here and this place saved my life, no lie!
