The Women's Center of Fayetteville is a nonprofit with a twelve-year history of serving families in Cumberland County, N. C. and surrounding counties.
At present the Center has its greatest concentration of providing assistance which will have a lasting impact on families.
This assistance is through the Women's Business Center, New Choices and its housing programs.
Ashton Woods, a transitional housing program for homeless families opened in June, 2000, with 20 houses available for families.
Lease to Home is another program for homeless families.
This program offers home ownership to homeless families.
In addition, the Women's Center offers resources and referrals to the community.
Classes are also offered for adults wishing to get a GED.
All classes are on-site.
The Women's Center works with other nonprofits and agencies for the betterment of women and families.

I have just been released from DOC in Florida and would like to come to NC to be close to my only family. I am 54 and On SSD though looking for supplimental work. I can get a ticket there, but need stable place to live for awhile. I am physically and mentally diagnosed and a survivor of domestic violence (3) and rape (2). I was in college before my arrest, in social and behavioral health.

Yes Oxford house but wasn't ready. Relapsed with someone who was using in the home.

For about a week ,my grandmother was on her dying bed when i was released. My aunt needed be to help her with my grandmother in the home. Shortly afterward she passed.

No i havent but so far if i am reading correctly iif u couldd help me find ahome and a good job to keep it up..i would greatly appreciate it. I was incarcerated for 18 years and was released 2018 and cant seem to get my life right out here just need some assistance please

Do you have to be on substance abuse to get help with housing through the women center, because I'm disable and on SSD, I'm on a public housing list which is a long wait.
