United Friends of the Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of foster children and to supporting former foster youth in their journey to become successful, independent adults. Through its programs, advocacy efforts and direct involvement with youth, UFC seeks to be a catalyst for change. Pathways is an 18-36 month housing program offering a full spectrum of support and opportunities for former foster and probation youth including housing, educational mentoring and assistance, career/vocational counseling and development, life skills training, health education and mental health services, and alumni services, all aimed at increasing youths self-sufficiency.
