The Transitional Living Center (TLC) is a confidential residential program targeted for, but not limited to, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault who wish to transition to a substance-free and violence-free lifestyle. TLC is open to women and their children and is comprised of two program components.

Mission Statement: To promote healthy families and a violence free community while providing a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Important Top Tips Before Applying

If you Interested in applying to Transitional Living Center, we recommend that you call them and find out some answers to some or all of the below questions:

What type of housing do you offer? Is it shared or private housing? Is it furnished or unfurnished?
What are the length of stay requirements? How long can I stay in the program?
What kind of support services do you offer? Do you offer job training, case management, or other support services to help me achieve permanent housing and self-sufficiency?

I heard you have units that are based off a percentage of income. I am homeless was in a abusive relationship have service animal with documentation from a physician for a physical impairment, I work at Quality Inn am clean and sober and could use some help until I can get a income above poverty level. I don't date and enjoy being single. Please help can't live in the snow. God Bless!

Would like to apply for housing for me and my four children ages 16, 11, 11 and 9. We are currently staying in a hotel in Texas and our Native Corporation is willing to pay our way back to Alaska in a week or so, and we have no where yet to go.
