MCCH operates eight distinct permanent supportive housing (PSH) programs to connect people who have experienced homelessness to stable, permanent housing along with the services they need to maintain their housing.
Mission Statement: To provide solutions in Montgomery County to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring.Our Vision:To end homelessness in Montgomery County by building a community where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home. MCCH’s mission and vision are aligned with the population goals in the Home, Together federal strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness, as well as the Montgomery County: Continuum of Care Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness. In partnership with Montgomery County and other local providers, MCCH has met the first population goal to end veteran homelessness in 2016. We continue our partnership with Montgomery County in pursuit of the remaining population-focused goals: To end chronic homelessness in 2019 To prevent and end homelessness for families with children and youth by 2020 To set a path to ending all types of homelessness
