Hello, I am a displaced New Orleanian, by the recent Hurricane Ida, that has returned home to Michigan to seek structure and a healthy environment. I know that i can't do it on my own. I have successfully completed programs before and really succeeded when I lived in an Oxford (sober living) House in New Orleans. I need to find a new recovery community, and I am here to do the work! I am an alcoholic with a dual diagnosis which includes Depression and CPTSD.

This place is ideal for those who are serious to stay sober and turn themselves to be an asset to society. My brother has been with them for more than a year and I have seen great improvement in him in terms of his attitude towards accountability, honesty and helping others.

I was a resident at Structured Living house for nearly four years till recently when I moved out to my own apartment. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and especially D. Singh, the owner. My four years of stay turned me into a better person overall. Not only did I remain sober but also learnt to be more humble, kind, teachable, patient, non-judgmental and understanding. I can now dare look forward to a bright future.
