The Rescue Mission of Trenton provides the only Emergency Shelter in Mercer County, New Jersey, licensed by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA), serving single men and women.
The Emergency Shelter is open 4 PM 8 AM daily.
Under the Emergency Services Program, the Rescue Mission also operates a weekend soup kitchen every Sunday and the fifth Saturday of the month.
The Rescue Missions Emergency Services are designed to serve Mercer County Residents.
While a homeless client is in the shelter, staff members work to link the person to community programs that will address the pressing needs and issues contributing to their homelessness.
