Onward in Eden Prairie offers safe and affordable housing that helps young adults emerge from homelessness. The house is located in a comfortable Eden Prairie neighborhood near shopping and mass transportation. It has a relaxing common space with a living room, dining room, kitchen, deck, yard, and four private bedrooms for residents. This is transitional housing, as opposed to permanent housing. Residents stay in the home for an average of 10 to 24 months. They currently serve female-identifying and non-binary young adults between the ages of 18 and 24. All residents must meet the following qualifications in order to rent: Be under the age of 22 when you move in (you can live in the house up to age 24) Have a job and/or be enrolled in school Agree to work with a case manager to actively pursue employment, education, and life goals Pass a background check Commit to not drinking alcohol or engaging in substance use inside Monthly rent is $300, due on the first of each month. Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
