Looking for housing in Lincoln to get back on my feet and continue staying sober

I am about to graduate treatment next week and was hoping for an interview. I have employment soon at Jimmy Johns.

Hi I live in Lincoln and I’m interested in getting in a oxford house. I’m at Houses Hope now

I lived at an Oxford house for a month. I was kind and respectful, always went above and beyond when doing my chores in this nasty house. I was the only one in my house not on probation. I chose to be there by my own free will because I wanted a safe place to stay and be accountable for my sobriety. I didn’t know anyone had a problem with me because I never gave them a reason to. I minded my own business and was either in my room meditating, on zoom AA meetings, or out of the house with my family. I had a panic attack one night in front of my whole house and went to my room to calm down. All five women in my house began to harass me and tell me it was their right to know why I had a panic attack. I politely told them I have a panic disorder and needed some space. They continued to harass me. I call the outreach chair Bill Cameron, as his number was on our Board, because I had a question. I was completely ignored by him and my house told me my family was not my family and that THEY were my family and I didn’t spend enough time with them. This is the most toxic environment I have ever lived in and I literally moved in to be in a safe place and stay sober. I would never ever recommend Oxford house to anyone. I am not a drug addict and my house made stuff up about me like that I was “storming around the house slamming doors and scaring people” when I am a very gentle and kind person and never did such a thing. Thank you so much for ruining my last chance at finding a safe place to recover.
