Mission Statement: It is the mission of the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) to create total, healthy living environments for vulnerable children, youth and families, and the quality of life which empowers their ability to thrive and demonstrate responsibility. We seek to carry out this mission by utilizing a four-pronged approach to our work in the Washington metropolitan area: community supports, education and training, volunteerism, and social advocacy. We have over 20 programs that primarily operate under four main service divisions: Adolescent Services Community Based Services Family Services Foster Care and Adoption Services NCCF’s expertise is our ability to provide services that empower clients to positively transform their lives, which is cultivated by our work with at-risk populations. Our programs provide wraparound services to help ensure that our clients become self-sufficient and do not return to dependency and poverty. The resiliency of the children and families we serve continues to impress and encourage us.
