I've been sober since September 2016 but have also experienced homelessness since. A friend has allowed me to rent a couch for a year but she's an active and daily user of multiple substances. I also struggle with bipolar disorder and past trauma but am stable and getting treatment thru 4th street clinic. I've been an addict all my life and am proudly sober!

I scheduled my son to have an assessment on a Friday and prepaid for 4 days and half of a month on the 26th & on the 27th. I called and said I’m not sure he couldn’t be at the assessment. The next day I called and told her he wouldn’t be able to stay there, he needed detox. She refused to refund my deposit and kept 200$ for a 2 day hold. Beware TC is rude and not very honest with me after she promised she would refund my money if things didn’t go as planned. He never even got assessed! I feel ripped off
