The programs Crossroads administer include:
Early Childhood programs help low-income children prepare for school; Family Development Self Sufficiency program works with families to overcome barriers; Low Income Home Energy Assistance program helps people pay a portion of their heating bills in the winter; Emergency assistance provides food and help in making rent or mortgage payments.In addition Crossroads operate:
the General Assistance program on behalf of the Board of Supervisors; the Senior Community Service Employment program provides job training assistance to people age 55 and older; the Child and Adult Food Care Program provides meal reimbursements and nutrition education to registered child care providers; Transitional Housing provides a safe place for individuals and families to live while working with a Family Specialist to gain long term sustainable housing.
