I used to live there. My advice would be to stay to yourself. Dont get to know your neighbors! A lot of the residents are struggling with substance abuse and mental health. If you want to use the place for it's intended purpose, to have a roof over your head while you get on your feet and learn to take care of yourself then stay focused on that goal. Work with your staff support person and stay focused on your goals. Dont plan on staying till the end, get on your feet and move on and let the next person in need have the same opportunity you recieved. It is a good program but you have to do the work.
