Transitional Housing Program Requirements - Must be a homeless family with child(ren) under age 18. - At least one adult household member must be employed. - Family must have become homeless while living in Gwinnett County. - Must not have adequate resources to acquire housing except for the assistance provided by this program. Call during office hours: Mondays through Fridays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The impact! Group is nonprofit agency that provides a full range of housing aid to the residents of Gwinnett County and northeast Georgia. Based in Norcross, GA, they partner with a number of agencies, businesses, and individuals to help families in need avoid or overcome homelessness in our community. The impact! Group operates two core divisions that help families in different stages of need. Impact! Transitional Housing provides subsidized housing and intensive case management to homeless families with children. The program is designed to give families the skills, time, and resources needed to permanently address the causes of their homelessness. The impact! Home-ownership Center provides classes and free housing counseling to both homeowners and potential home-buyers. The HUD-trained housing counselors work with families that are in danger of foreclosure or who are seeking to responsibly buy a home to help them navigate their options.
