The Missions Life Recovery program, known as the Academy, is for men whose lives have been broken by homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, physical and mental abuses, and jail and/or prison experiences. The Academy provides hope for a normal life, the opportunity for restoration, and wholeness that comes from faith in God. The Academy is an 18-month (12-month residential and 6-month aftercare) rehabilitation, work-therapy, and career-development program for men.

Dear Sir, I am the mother of an inmate looking for residential transitional housing upon his parole. He needs a letter of acceptance/conditional acceptance to be generated so the Board of Parole Hearings commissioners can see that he has concrete housing plans for his initial transition into society. He does not have any sex offenses or arson charges. He has been accepted into Project Rebound at Fresno State University to pursue his Bachelor’s Degree. He is an Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) facilitator and plans to be involved in the AVP community and to facilitate workshops in the local community. He would like a letter of acceptance sent to the BPH with a copy of the letter sent to him.
