Fresh Start Supportive Housing Program is a faith-based, human services organization. They assist individuals and families in need due to addiction, alcoholism, homelessness, domestic abuse, and other mental health challenges. They have transitional homes for men and women that help individuals grow in their relationship with God, which will then empower them to sustain recovery from alcoholism and other substance use disorders. The goal is to help the individual re-enter society as a productive citizen.  They are dedicated to helping residents achieve positive and lasting change through one-on-one counseling and other social programs.  The homes are very spacious, with the max to each bedrooms at 2 persons. The cost per month is $500. This includes help with finding employment and transportation. Also, they take you to grocery shop, doctor's appointments, and any other important appointments. They have laundry facilities in each home as well as internet and televisions. Provided is all cleaning supplies and laundry supplies. Also, they assist with meals and groceries for the first month. Church services and Bible study are offered. They see interested persons by appointment only. Please call 318-517-8239 Mon. thru Fri. between the hours of 9am-5pm.
