Brighter Tomorrows offers: Emergency Safe Shelter - two emergency safe shelters in Grand Prairie and Irving. Clients and their children receive meals, clothing, crisis counseling, advocacy and safety planning assistance. Transitional Housing Program - this program provides a safe apartment for clients.  While in the program, clients receive life skills training, counseling (as required) and may be eligible for additional training resources. Program stay is up to 24 months.


Mission Statement: For over 30 years our mission has been to empower victims of domestic violence & sexual assault by providing emergency safe shelter, transitional housing, support services, and partnering with stakeholders to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community.

I'm trying to get on my feet. just got a job and my  boyfriend went to jail. and the place im staying at right now is only paid in till sunday. i have no family. lost everything in 2015. because of my substance abuse, my parent rights got taking in 2016. my family turned there back on me after that. so i'm all alone right now and really need help not to fall back in my black hole

I am a single mother of a two year old girl, I have no support, and I was evicted yesterday due to not being able to pay rent. I seek assistance but it was too late, now me and my daughter are homeless with no place today.Ive been losing jobs because I do not have stable child care.

I'm located in the DFW area. I'm 56 years old. I'm retired from AA in 2012 when I got hurt at work and became disabled and on SS and make 1400 a month. I was on the housing list in arlington texas for 2 and a half years, and they said I have to start over again.
