Good evening, I got sober on 2/16/18 in Minnesota, I’ve been back in the Winchester area since mid-September this year and moved back in with my children’s mother. I just started my second job today, after leaving my first employer over a month ago. I haven’t kept up with my payments to their mother and that’s caused for turbulence and the need to look for another residence (understandably due to my past behaviors and disappointing judgement). I don’t want to move back to Minnesota again, but have very little network and no support here in the area. I don’t know if I qualify for a halfway house? I’ve been sober nearly 14 months, so I’m not “really” transitioning, but I am hurting from a lifetime of poor decision making due to an alcoholic mind. I filled out the Oxford house application in August 2018, as this was originally going to be my route to get out to my children again, so I suppose my questions are... Do I need to fill another one out, or can that be looked up? Do I even qualify? Is there a faster way to find placement than calling each location individually around a new job schedule? Please let me know, I appreciate you’re time.
