The difference between CRH and other halfway houses is the belief that true recovery, and the joy that accompanies it, can only be realized through Jesus Christ. Residents will spend time in Bible study, prayer and worship on a daily basis, and will attend Christ-centered 12-step meetings and services as a part of their weekly affairs. They believe sobriety will always be lacking when practiced outside a fruitful and abounding relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. You don't have to be a Christian to come here, but you will be asked to live as though you are one... and you can be sure they will be praying you will leave clean, sober

Need to change the environment I'm in whereas where I'm at currently located is familiar territory; where the old me were brought. I was recently released from jail again and find myself in a repeated cycle whenever I come back to this area.

Hi my brother is currently in federal prison in Butner LSI. He will has to be listed as a sex offender when released. He needs to have a place to go when discharged in 18 months and has to know by Dec. 2020 where that will be. I am trying to find out his options. I live in Brunswick Co. He was living in VA Homeless Shelter in Asheville when he went into prison. He would like to get into this area if possible for a new start. Is there an Oxford House that would be appropriate for him in this area?
