Family Assistance Ministries provides transitional housing for up to one year. Admission criteria requires the applicants to be female, 18 years of age or older (preferably 21), drug free and sober at least 120 days prior to admission, proof of completion of drug rehabilitation program if resident participated and homeless. If the applicants have children they must be under 12 years old. Upon admission, residents must obtain employment and work at least 32 hours per week. At least 60% of the income must be put into savings and a $75 deposit is due within the 30 days. However the rest of the program fee is based on a sliding scale and is required.
