BVCASA Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Transitional Treatment Center is a Phase I Transition (TTC) funded by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) whose structured environment follows the therapeutic community (TC) treatment model. The program is designed to provide a positive, safe, and caring setting offering education, support, and guidelines in assisting the ex-offender's effective transition back into the community. The rules and policies within the program are very much like those found in a functional family or living environment. Every effort is made to apply the rules fairly and consistently. This structure gives each resident the basis for acquiring positive social attitudes, values, and standards. Empowering the individual to internalize learned recovery principles and live a life of harmonious balance is the program focus. The Transitional Treatment Center staff assists the individual(s) in establishing functional ties to family, friends, employment, and the community. The ultimate goal for residents at the Transitional Treatment Center is for each individual to grasp a successful recovery and to achieve their own personal hopes, dreams and goals.

My grandson is hoping to be released from jail to finish probation in Harris and Kaufman Counties. He has been drug free for 7 months after 12 years of abuse and jail.

I’m an IV user. I have been putting a needle in my arm about every 2 hrs for the the last 2 1/2 months. I’m on parole out of Bryan. For 7 more years. I’ve been to prison twice and ISF 4 times. I have failed 3 urine test already. They said I don’t have any restrictions. And that I can check in to where ever I want as long as it helps me get my sobriety back. Most of all I need and want this. If I don’t make something happen now then I’m either going to hurt someone or myself. Or someone, then myself. I don’t want to be here anymore. But my family doesn’t want me to take my life. I have never done this for myself. So I don’t know how it feels on the good side you know. I might change my mind if I can come there and actually work it this time. God bless.

I'm contacting you in concerns to my living status, I spent about 2 to 3 months there last year and am currently waiting on a hud vash in order to get an apartment there in Bryan. I wanted to ask if how much it would cost to enroll in the program for 2 to 3 months until I get my voucher for my apartment there through the veteran affairs. I enjoyed my stay there last time and love to participate with the program. I learned a lot and feel I have a lot to offer.
