The Atlantic City Rescue Mission meets a critical need in a five-county area of southern New Jersey by serving all populations of homeless men, women and mothers with children. The Mission provides emergency shelter services and food in addition to its being a full-service, Christian social service organization. Structured programs in addiction recovery, work readiness, family services, referral, primary health care, mental health case management and other services are offered within the 312-bed facility. The Mission serves over 3,000 people each year and is unique in the area in that it offers services to unsubsidized clients.

Mission Statement: The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is set apart by the Spirit of God to preach the Gospel and meet the physical, emotional and other basic needs (through the provision of shelter, clothing, food, counseling, referral and structured programs) of the poor and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.
