Shelter:
Services to the homeless include assistance with food, clothing, job placement, education and budgeting classes, and assistance finding permanent housing. Extended Stay and Paid Stay program available through caseworker. Individuals must be age 18 or older to use the shelter. This program does not accept sex offenders or anyone with outstanding warrants. Check-in is at 6:30 p.m. every night, year-round.
Rehab & Transitional Housing:
The Salvation Armys Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Program, known as the CSRC (Corps Salvage and Rehabilitation Center) provides spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Their program offers a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, spiritual direction, and resources to assist each person to develop life skills and a personal relationship with God as provided by Jesus Christ.
Program Overview:
6-12 month residential recovery program Space for 23 men Free of charge Christian based Work therapy at Family Store & Lodge Recovery classes five nights per week Accepts men 21 to 60 years of age Requires current state issued IDThis program does not accept sex offenders or anyone with outstanding warrants.
The Salvation Army also maintains transitional housing for the men who have completed the CSRC program.
Transitional housing provides an opportunity for these men to re-enter the community as productive members of society while affording them an opportunity to clear up any debt or restitution owed.
