Akron House Sober Living serves up to eight men who are 21 years of age or older who are in active recovery from substance use disorder, who are seeking a solution to their problem that includes an essential spiritual component, coupled with regularly attending 12-step and supportive in-house meetings.
Their men are expected to be employed, enrolled in school or performing volunteer work for a verifiable 40 hours per week.
They are actively working the 12 steps with a sponsor, and they are following the continuing care recommendations of their treatment professionals.
AHSL asks for a minimum three month commitment, with at least a six-month stay being recommended.
Move-in cost:
$320 $160 weekly plus $15/month supply fee.
