I was inducted as a House Cousin at Akeela House back in the old location -- believe it was around the early 1990s. I met & dated my husband there, whom was a resident. I volunteered there as a sober support person for the recovering females there. I LOVED Akeela House! I'm so very proud & happy it's still operating & available for the Anchorage community. Wonder who all still works there, I mean from the old-school days?!
