ABARIS Behavioral Health serves the behavioral health needs of southeastern Michigan. Utilizing a best practice approach, clinic personnel work to reduce or eliminate distressful and debilitating symptoms and to improve social, educational, and/or occupational role functioning of persons served. Best practices are based on research, evidenced-based guidelines, expert consensus, and published practice guidelines. Populations they serve include children and adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with mental illness (mild, moderate, severe and persistent), substance abuse and dependency (and dual diagnoses of mental illness and substance use disorder), educational or occupational problems, and/or family and interpersonal problems.
