Dorothy Day House of Hospitality provides temporary housing and support services for intact homeless families in Memphis, TN. Facility can house up to four families at one time. Hours Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Program Fees No Fee Eligibility Intact homeless families with children of any age, including single parents as well as couples with children. Couples must provide marriage certificate. Intake Process Requires referral from social service agency


Mission Statement: Rooted in the tradition of the Gospels and inspired by the vision and passion of Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker Movement, the Dorothy Day House provides temporary housing and support services for homeless families in Memphis, TN. Working with other local agencies, staff members and volunteers provide families in need with a safe environment and the means to re-establish their independence. All guests are welcomed as Christ with no discrimination.
